Make the best dang bloody mary ever.
Whether you're recovering from the office holiday party or just
trying to get through brunch with family, nothing says, "ho, ho,
hair of the dog" better than a bloody mary. And lo, here's how you
can use our Mighty Hot Sauce to make
a particularly potent one.
What you’ll need
3 cups
Clamato® Tomato Cocktail (plain ol' tomato juice works fine too)
1 tbsp
horseradish
1.5 tsp
Mighty Hot Sauce
1 tbsp
soy sauce
1 tsp
garlic powder
1 tsp
ground black pepper
1 tsp
chipotle chile powder
Juice from one lime
4 oz
(or more, we won't tell) of your favorite vodka—Monopolowa is a
great budget option for bloody marys
1 tbsp
chipotle chile powder for rim
1 tbsp
kosher salt for rim
lemon wedges for garnish
lime wedges for garnish
Olives, bacon, celery, chicken strip, slider, sugar cookie,
reindeer jerky or whatever other crazy thing you want to garnish
it with.
How to make it
Throw the Clamato, horseradish,
Mighty Hot Sauce, soy sauce, garlic
powder, chipotle chile powder, lime juice and vodka in a pitcher
and give it a good stir until everything is nice and mixed. You
don't have to be fussy about it. In a small dish mix the kosher
salt and additional chipotle chile powder. Coat the rim of each
serving glass with some juice from a lime wedge and dip the rim in
the salt/chile powder mix. Pour the bloody mary mix into each
coated glass and garnish like crazy. Sip, slurp or guzzle the best
dang bloody mary you'll ever have
